What is the difference between a Ford Taurus anda Lincoln MKZ?

Same with a Lexus E350 and Toyota Avalon. I'm interested in the comfort and options. Am I really getting something different when I pay more for the Lexus or Lincoln logo. The bodies are virtually identical and they offer similar options just with different names.|||the name tags, the hood ornament, the cup holders and the price tag; the same for Lexus and Toyota, they all fold up the same way when they get hit, only the more expensive ones cost more to repair and longer to pay off...
