I am looking to purchase a lincoln towncar from a friend of mine that has 430k miles listed. He has paperwork showing that the engine was rebuilt at 340k. Anyone have experience with town cars either as a limo car or taxi that can give me an idea based off of experience?|||at least another 200k miles. I saw a 88 lincoln towncar on the news that was rebuilt once at around 400k and it currently has a million miles on it. The transmission had been redone too.|||Those guys take care of their cars, because it's their bread-%26amp;-butter. It wouldn't take but an afternoon to drop in a 'new' engine, so the big $$$ is in the body sheet metal %26amp; the interior.|||i had an 88
