What's the difference between the standard Lincoln LS and the LSE?

I am looking at 2001 and 2002 Lincoln LS V8's. I keep seeing this "LSE" model that has some improved cosmetic features but no mention of performance upgrades. What other different items did the LSE come with over the standard LS V8's?|||The only difference is in the trim package.

To be specific, the LSE gives you this:

LSE Appearance Package available on V-8 Sport only

includes unique 17" 7-Spoke chromed-aluminum wheels, modified front and rear fascias and side rocker panels, unique fog lamps, color-keyed grille surround with chrome vertical bars, color-keyed license-plate surround, rear deck lid spoiler, all-red tail lamps, LSE badge, LSE floor mats and unique wood interior appliques.

Well, it doesn't exactly "give" it, you pay about $3,000 more for it.|||No performance upgrades, but the car looks awesome in LSE trim. Especially the subtle spoiler %26amp; quad exhausts.|||lse has been around for a while. Merc sabel had the ls and the lse, as with the grand marqis. You saw the lse come out just before a body change. all it is 3 different models put together and the badging of LSE. They are classy for sure I own one. be honest, I have only seen one supercharged LSE linc, and it is in my garage. It is a 4.6 supercharged from the factory, and I have been told that they only made 10 of them. Hard to find, mine is a 2002, and i have 000525 miles on it. Still smells new!!! LOL|||In addition to what OKLATOM said, you also get 4 chromed exhaust tips and two-tone leather interior.
